Recipe for the holidays

Recipe for the holidays

Very often, the holidays are loaded with sugar. I guess by now, we are all aware of the fact that sugar is highly addictive and can cause all kinds of health hazards.

This recipe looks great and festive, is more digestive friendly and absolutely very tasty.

Recipe

  • Take the amount of walnuts that you need.
  • Have a few east indian cherry flowers and cut them in little pieces. Yes, these flowers are edible and very tasty!
  • Melt dark 85% chocolate au bain marie. This chocolate is less harmful.
  • Take baking paper, spread the walnuts, pour the walnuts with the melted chocolate and put the pieces of the east indian cherry flower on top. This gives extra taste to your bonbon.

In Chinese Medicine, walnuts are used to strengthen the energy of the kidneys and the lungs, to tonify the blood and to moisten the intestines.

Enjoy it!
