Strengthen your lungs and immune system

In the last set of blogs I gave you several herbs (under the header herbs) to strengthen your lungs and this time I will give you an exercise. So you can choose or do them both.

  • Put your feet hipwidth, toes point forward. Take time to feel how you stand on this earth; how Mother Earth is carrying you. Feel your contact.
  • Start shaking. Let the movement come up from your feet, so the energy can start moving and also all the small facet joints can fall into place a little more.
  • Keep on shaking, whilst putting your arms up. This will open up the lung meridian. A meridian is an energetic pathway.  Feel how the gravity pulls your body to Mother Earth.
  • Check, while you keep on shaking, if you are still in the base position: feet hipwidth, feet pointing forward, check your contact with Mother Earth.
  • Now stop the shaking. Take time to feel what the shaking did in you body. Now, slightly tilt your pelvis. Your tailbone points to the ground. You tilt your chin towards your chest. Therefore your crown is your highest point. Work on 80-90 percent of your physical capacity, so take it nice and easy and focus your attention inwardly.
  • For further instructions, for the next phase, watch the little video below.
