Looking forward to 2020

On December 31, 2018 the first blogs were uploaded! I started a blog, to reach as many people as possible, because I think it is important to share knowledge, insights and experiences on taking care of your body in the most natural way possible; in the best possible alignment with your biologics. Lifestyle changes, even the small ones, and natural medicine can prevent a lot of illnesses and ailments and can be a good support for regular treatment. My aim was and still is to create awareness.

Looking back on 2019, there were two common threads in the 2019 blogs: stress and the five elements in Chinese medicine. I selected stress, because sadly, it is becoming the new ‘normal’ for a lot of people in our contemporary society, with devastating effects on the body. And I choose Chinese medicine, because I found it to be a great and natural way of looking at health ánd it is acknowledged by the WHO. I hope you have benefited from the blogs so far. I am well aware of the fact that there is a lot of info on the blog by now!

Looking forward to 2020: in the 2020 blogs, I will present, again, two common threads: our digestive tract and Ayurveda. Good digestion is of crucial importance for physical and mental health, or: the road to good health is paved with good intestines. Ayurveda originated in India, around the same time as Chinese medicine in China. Ayurveda resembles Chinese medicine in a number of ways. Should be interesting to explore!

Looking back on 2019, I feel grateful, blessed and privileged for the guest bloggers. Such beautiful and strong women! I feel grateful, blessed and privileged for so many readers as well! I never could have expected this in my wildest dreams! Thank you all so much! Looking forward to 2020: I am exited to continue and hope you will to continue to visit my page. I would like to invite you to comment and share. And if you would like to read about a specific subject, please let me know! You can use the comment section or hit the contact button.

You can also sign up for my newsletter, if you haven’t done it yet, so you will not miss out on new blogs. You can subscribe here: https://mailchi.mp/8561a5344db1/mhealthblogm or on this site www.mhealthblogm.com.

What more is in store for 2020?

  • Some of you might already know, that I am writing a herbal book. This project  is starting to take shape. I hope I will be able to finish it by the end of 2020 and find a publisher for it. I already found a wonderful illustrator!
  • I made a start with writing an (e-)book on stress, burn-out and trauma.
  • And last but not least: a special gratitude journal is in the mindmapping/development phase!

Those three projects are as dots on my horizon and all three will be available in the webshop in due time.

So, the theme of this month was gratitude. A new Facebook group ‘the attitude of gratitude’ is launched, on which everybody can post what they are grateful for. Let’s make the ‘attitude of gratitude’ go viral!

I  think I can also speak for my guestbloggers ánd my precious pug Dwarrel when I say: a merry Christmas, happy holidays and a very happy, grateful and healthy 2020!
