SUMMER RECIPE

Digestive problems can arise quickly in the summer. Therefore, we recommend a light and low-fat diet. The summer is a good time to add somewhat colder dishes to your diet.

The Chinese nutrition theory assessess nutrition according to its energetic quality, such as temperature, tast and the ability to wet and strengthen the body. Food with cooling properties, can clear heat, they can reduce toxins and replenish body fluids.

Below you will find a summer recipe.

Buy organic beetroots. Cook them well and cut them in little pieces. Also slice the pickles in little pieces. Put them in a bowl and crumble the feta over it and add the argula.

Make a dressing of balsamic vinegar, organic cold pressed olive oil, mustard, agave syrup, a bit of cumin and a little bit of salt. Pour the dressing over this dish and if you want, you can add som fresh coriander and/or parsley.

The cooked beetroots, the feta and the argula belong to the fire element and therefore to the summer.

Don’t forget to enjoy your meal!
